Hyderabad: Politicians have stooped to such levels that they are minting fake notes to distribute in polls. Noted actor Shivaji, on Sunday presented a letter he has received, which confirms the statement above. A letter was written by an intermediate student from Rayalaseema, in which he alleges that a big man (read politician), under whom his brother was working, has been minting fake notes to distribute in polls. The brother saw the process and refused to go to work. Apparently, the student’s brother went missing after he received a threatening call from his employer. The student came to Hyderabad, found the actor’s address and stuck the letter to the car’s wind shield.
Shivaji said that he got this letter on Sunday morning and was startled to read the contents in the letter. “I request all the parties and leaders, to focus on providing basic amenities to people, rather than buying votes with fake money. I also request people not be gullible and spoil their future for Rs 500,” he added. He asked people to record such events and share with media. He promised that he will embark on awareness programmes on 27 and 28 in city and two days before polls in Seemandhra.
