New Delhi: Chief Election Commissioner of India VS Sampath in a press meet released the Lok sabha Elections 2014 Schedule. As per the schedule, Elections to be held to three state assemblies – AP, Odisha and Sikkim along with Lok Sabha polls.

AP will go to polls on April 30 and May 7. Both Assembly and Lok Sabha Elections in the Andhra pradesh state would be conducted in two phases i.e on April 30 ( I phase) and May 7 ( II Phase).

The elections would be conducted to AP Assembly. After the appointed date, MLAs will go to their respective states.

Important dates

April 30 : Assembly Elections for 119 Assembly constituencies and 17 Lok sabha constituencies in Telangana Region
May 7: Assembly Elections in 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 Lok sabha constituencies in Seemandhra region.

April 7 : Start date for Acceptance of Nominations
April 9: Last date for Acceptance of Nominations
April 10: Scrutiny of Nominations
April 12: Last date for With drawal of Nominations

Seemandhra

April 12: Election Notification to be Released for Elections in Seemandhra region
April 19: Last date for Acceptance of Nominations
April 21: Scrutiny of Nominations
April 23: Last date for With drawal of Nomination
May 7: Elections for 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 Lok sabha constituencies in Seemandhra region

May 16: Assembly and Lok sabha Results to be announced
