The Seemandhra employees would stage dharna on February 13 at the residences of central ministers and MPs and at the government offices in Seemandhra region.

They have called for seemandhra bandh in the coastal and Rayalaseema districts on February 13. The SASP leaders also extended total support to the bandh called by the APNGOs to keep the State united.

Addressing the media, NGOs leader P Ashok Babu said the bill being rejected by both houses of state legislature should not be tabled in parliament. He said the central government should keep the state united by respecting the will of the people. He alleged that so far bifurcation of the State was done democratically and in the case of Andhra Pradesh the rulers were acting dictatorially. Ashok made it clear that they would obstruct the bifurcation with struggles. The NGOs leader said that they would defeat the leaders who were not fighting for Samaikyandhra and wanted the Congress Seemandhra leaders to choose between the people’s aspirations and the party high command.
