Chandrababu Naidu has been politicising Special Category Status issue according to his needs and the opposition is firing him for his approach. Now, he brought back the famous 2-eyes theory. He popularised this theory during state bifurcation. He is implementing it again regarding state formation day celebrations.
Pro-Telangana leaders are criticising Chandrababu that he is supporting Telangana in Telangana, Andhra in Andhra. L. Ramana held a meeting in NTR Trust Bhavan and they have decided to hold Telangana Formation Day celebrations on a grand scale. He clarified that they are taking up these programmes on the suggestion of Chandrababu. Surprisingly, Chandrababu is taking up Nava Nirmana Deeksha in AP in opposition to Telangana formation. He has decided to hold Maha Sankalpa Public meetings in 8 districts of AP on the occasion. AP state government is doing all the preparations to take up Nava Nirmana Deeksha from June 2. The state government has released the guidelines for the week-long programmes.
The government passed orders that meetings should be held at Village level, ward level daily from 2pm-5 pm on various aspects. District level, Mandal level, Ward level meeting should be supervised by the respective committees and they should make sure to bring CM’s speech to the notice of the public. The responsibility of programme management committee lies with the collectors. The meeting should set up goals for 2018-19. They should utilise the locally set up LED screens for the programmes. Kuchipudi, folk dance programmes, musical concerts should be held as per the government order.
