Babu made it clear that his becoming chief minister of Seemandhra was necessary for development of the region.
The former chief minister said, “There was a need to build the Seemandhra region right from the beginning and I should become chief minister of the region for all-round development. That is the reason why I am contesting for Assembly constituency”, Naidu said while speaking to the media at Nirmal in Adilabad district.
The TDP president said he had to announce that BC leader R. Krishnaiah would be made chief minister of Telangana State because he (Krishnaiah) has been struggling for decades for the welfare of the backward class people. There was no comparison between KCR and Krishnaiah, he quipped.
Naidu exuded confidence that NDA would win 300 seats in the country. He assured that he would try to make party’s Adilabad MP Ramesh Rathod as Union minister and Boath, Nirmal candidates S Baburao and Babar as State ministers. The TDP chief appealed to the Telangana people to vote for TDP to make the BC leader Krishnaiah as CM for ensuring welfare of poor and downtrodden.
