HYDERABAD: A day before the resumption of state Assembly to debate on draft Telangana Bill, the YSR Congress party on Thursday made it clear that it would not take part in the debate but would exercise its right to express its views on it as and when required.
Speaking to media persons after taking part in a meeting with party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, YSR Congress party MLA B Karunakar Reddy said the party would continue to stall the House with the demand that it first pass a resolution for keeping the state united.
“Our party has decided not to take part in the debate which is aimed at dividing the state. Both the Congress and TDP have colluded to take forward the division. We will not join the debate but will express our views at an appropriate time to exercise our right of expression,” said Karunakar Reddy.
