Chiranjeevi to become the 17th CM of A.P

chiranjeeviHyderabad: If all goes well, actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi is going to assume the State’s top slot- Chief Minister. Going by reports from New Delhi, Chiru will be named as the 17th CM of Andhra Pradesh and touted as the last CM of the state.

Highly-placed sources close to Congress top brass revealed, “Mostly, the decision on appointing new CM in AP will be taken on Wednesday. The new CM would be from the Kapu community, a majority section in the State. Yes, Chiru is the front runner for the post. However, we can’t rule out the names of Botsa Satya-narayana and Kanna Lakshminarayana who are also vying for the post.” Sources added that names of Anam Ramanarayana Reddy (Reddy community) and Raghuveera Reddy (B.C community) were dropped from the scrutiny.

Amid such reports, Unioin Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi met Mr Singh separately, and said he was ready to take any assignment given to him by the high command. He will be quitting to his Union Minister post soon after he is named as CM. Meanwhile, Chiru is preparing ground to become CM. He has apparently looking forward to good muhurat (Holy time) to assume the chair. Most probably, the former Praja Rajyam Party president is going to be CM in this week.
