Didn’t Expect TDP, BJP Break-Up: Chandrababu


AP CM Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with Telangana TDP members at NTR Trust Bhavan. It’s then he admitted never expecting the alliance with BJP would backfire. He further said, ‘Decisions will change depending on the stand of parties. We need to take right decision at the right time’.

Despite having a tie-up, Telangana TDP and Telangana BJP never maintained good relations. In fact, They had parted ways even before CM Chandrababu Naidu announced that TDP quit NDA. Then TDP Leader Revanth Reddy dared to say his party doesn’t need BJP. In reply, BJP Chief Laxman shot back, ‘How can a party fighting for existence talk about us? There is no question of alliance with TDP in next elections’.

During the video conference, Chandrababu Naidu asked party leaders to stay in touch with the people at the grassroots level to strengthen the party. He advised leaders to keenly observe the political developments ahead of 2019 Polls and make best use of them for building their careers. Naidu informed Partymen that decision on alliance will be taken at the right time. He ordered leaders to refrain from group politics and work unitedly.

TDP Supremo informed TDP will announce party candidates much before any other party. He instructed party leaders to form committees by the time he comes back to Hyderabad after Mahanadu.
