Dy CM Damodara’s wife challenges Jagga Reddy


Hyderabad: Padmini Reddy, wife of Deputy Chief Minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, has declared that she would oppose Sangareddy Congress MLA Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy in the ensuing Assembly elections.

In a statement here on Sunday, Padmini Reddy lashed out at Jagga Reddy for declaring that he would capture polling booths during the ensuing elections. She also disclosed that she had written letters to President Pranab Mukherjee, Governor ESL Narasimhan, High Court Chief Justice, Chief Election Commissioner and leaders of various political parties about Jagga Reddy’s shocking declaration that he would resort to booth capturing in the ensuing elections. She stated that she urged them to take deterrent action against the Sangareddy MLA for his dare-devil utterances.
