The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is going to bring the new Rs 10 denomination notes into circulation. New Rs 10 currency notes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series will bear the signature of RBI Governor Urjit Patel.
India’s cultural heritage will be depicted on the new notes. Chocolate Brown is going to be the base color. These notes will be in 63 mm * 123 mm dimension.
On the front side, Mahatma Gandhi portrait, Ashoka Pillar emblem, RBI, India and 10 have been printed.
On the back side, Swachh Bharat logo with slogan, Language Panel, motif of the Sun Temple, Konark and denominational numeral १० written in Devnagari script appears on the other side.
