Former minister Kothapalli Subbarayudu joins YSRCP

kothapalli-subbarayuduHyderabad: Former minister Kothapalli Subbarayudu joins YSRCP at Narasapur in the presence of party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Reportedly, Jagan wants to attract major Kapu Community leaders in East and West Godavari districts. It seems in general opinion that Kapu leaders in the Coastal Andhra are looking towards TDP.

This belief has strengthened with the recent joining of Bandaru Satyananda Rao and Ghanta batch into TDP. Jagan wants to do some damage control in this regard.

There are two prominent Kapu leaders (Umareddy Venkateswarlu and Jyothula Nehru) in YSRCP. Jagan has assigned special task for these leaders to identify Kapu leaders and invite them into the party. Kapu Community in coastal Andhra and Balija in Rayalaseema have made impact in 80 Assembly segments and 14 MP segments in SA.

YSRCP first concentrated on Narsapur MLA Kothapalli Subba Rayudu. He was contested from PRP in 2009.
