Condemning the way YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy came for darshan of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala, BJP workers yesterday held a  dharna.

The agitating  activists alleged that Jagan was allowed a darshan despite his not signing the  declaration form as is mandatory for non-Hindus. They alleged that he even walked up to Vaikuntam queue complex wearing chappals, though  Vaikuntam complex is a known sacred place for all Hindu devotees. They also alleged that some TTD staff provided facilities beyond the limits.

Two days ago,  MLA and actress Jayasudha came along with family members for darshan and she  was forced to sign the  declaration form,  though she belongs to Hindu community. The   BJP leaders wanted to know why  there was partiality of treatment between Jayasudha and Jagan.

They demanded apology from Jagan for his behavior. Governor ESL Narasimhan has in fact sought a report in this regard from TTD board.
