KCR changing stands on merger says DS

da-and-KCRHyderabad: Former PCC president and senior Congress leader D. Srinivas took potshots at TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao for changing his stand on merging his party with Congress.

Speaking at a ‘Meet the press’ organized by the Andhra Pradesh Journalist Forum, DS said, “It was KCR who first said he will merge the party with Congress in the past and it is KCR now refusing to do so now”.

D.S. also took exception to Chief Minister N.Kiran Kumar Reddy’s letters to President and Prime Minister on the procedural lapses in taking forward the bifurcation process.

Despite maintaining that there is no need to speak about YSR Congress president YS Jagan, Srinivas has said “It is only due to the desire of Jagan to become CM that all these things are happening.”

Srinivas made public the intention of Congress party to appropriate the Telangana movement, when he said that it is the Congress party which has been at the forefront of the movement for Telangana and KCR came much later. Our MPs obstructed even working of the Parliament and that’s not a small issue,” he said.
