Warangal: Konda Surekha, a former Minister in the state cabinet and her husband Konda Murali, a former MLC, have been allegedly looking at Telugu Desam Party. The couple has a good grip at Parakala constituency, and now planning to join TDP, if the Warangal East constituency ticket is promised to them.
It is evident that after the death of late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Konda family joined YSR Congress Party. Nonetheless, they came out of the party after Jagan ill-treated them after Parakala bi-election. Then, in the midst of a big drama, Konda couple joined in Congress party.
But in recent times, Congress party reportedly made it clear that they can not give Parakala or Warangal East ticket to the Konda’s family. Congress Party has only been promising to give them importance in the local body elections. Annoyed over this very matter, reportedly, Konda couple is looking at TDP now. At the other end, reportedly, Congress leaders of Warangal district are in touch with them and are trying to pacify them to remain in Congress Party only.
