Ever since temporarily got detached from active politics, Megastar Chiranjeevi has been doing films nonstop thus keeps his fans elated. Yet, ruling and opposition political parties have lots of fears on the Megastar.
Although Chiranjeevi’s PRP was defeated in 2009, PRP made its indelible imprint on AP politics with 70 lakhs voting in spite of media’s hatred filled articles and huge money pumped in by other major political parties including some caste factors.
The ruling TDP knows the power of Chiranjeevi even today. As such, when Megastar’s Khaidi Number 150 pre release event was planned in Vijayawada, TDP created many obstacles then. The venue had to be changed to Gurntur and then to Haailand.
It’s learnt that some media houses are wishing Chiranjeevi to respond on ongoing protests on AP’s special status and funds allocation for Polavaram other projects. But then, guess what happens if Megastar responds? The same media gets worried to the core and starts slinging mud on Chiranjeevi. All in all, it’d be better political biased media houses let Chiranjeevi be silent on political issues.
