Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Sabbam said the Congress was going ahead with bifurcation of the State undemocratically. He also said in the name of Congress high command, Sonia Gandhi was taking all decisions. He said they would intensify their agitation against bifurcation of the State during the next two weeks to stall formation of the State in coordination with the like-minded parties.
The MP said they would continue protests in Parliament on Monday to Wednesday and table a no-confidence motion signed by 70 MPs against the UPA government. Pointing out that the Congress was routed in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu and now trying to bifurcate AP with the BJP’s support, Hari said the nexus between the ruling party at the Centre and BJP was discernible. “We have been behaving in a democratic manner, but now we will be not the same” he added. Warning that he was ready to commit suicide against bifurcation of the State, Hari said two other MPs too were prepared to immolate themselves along with him.
