New capital for Seemandhra can be built in 2 years: TRS

Eetela-rajendarHyderabad: A period of two or three years is enough for building a new capital for Seemandhra region stated Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Wednesday. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, TRS leader Eetela Rajender said “we have accepted Hyderabad to remain joint capital for 10 years, but the fact that Seemandhra has big contractors, it doesn’t require so much of time to build a new capital”.

Eetela was responding to the demand by Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) that Hyderabad should be made a joint capital only for a period of three years. He said TRS would submit its report to the Group of Ministers (GoM), even if TJAC submits its own report but refused to elaborate more on the report.

TRS leaders attacked Telangana Congress leaders, who are ‘celebrating’ separate state with ‘Jaitra Yatra’ public meetings. “What sacrifices have they made? These Congress leaders did nothing to achieve Telangana state. They could not even prevent their own Chief Minister and even safeguarding his seat. CM Kiran cannot continue in his seat without the support of Telangana Congress ministers” they said.

The leaders attacked Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan for changing his stand on bifurcation, who actually demanded the Centre to solve Telangana issue without delay. They have also strongly criticised TPD leader Payyavula Keshav for his petition in Supreme Court against state’s division.
