Naidu was warmly welcomed by party activists when he arrived here today. He addressed a meeting of party leaders and workers, organized at the Lakshmiprasanna theatre. Speaking on the occasion, he said all resources are available in the region to develop it in a grand manner. All the promises made by the party would be fulfilled, if Narendra Modi became Prime Minister. He alleged that the Congress has failed to fulfill the promises it made to the Muslims during the past ten years.
Taking a dig at the Congress party, Naidu said it was not in a position to announce who is the prime ministerial candidate of the party. He alleged that the Congress party has divided the state for votes and seats.
Except Congress, the party would have tie-up with any other party, he said adding that if Pawan Kalyan joins BJP, he will be welcomed in the party.
Participating in a discussion on development of Andhra Pradesh,organized by the Chamber of Commerce at Guntur, the BJP leader urged the people to elect efficient and skilled leaders in the coming elections. He said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is a gentleman; he is not an efficient leader. Singh would have found a place in the history if he had done some good work.
