Hyderabad: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu praising Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi clearly indicates that the regional party was going ahead to forge an electoral alliance with the BJP, despite claims to the contrary by some leaders.
During a media conference at the TDLP office and at a meeting with party leaders, Naidu spoke on the Telangana issue as well as about Narendra Modi. He appreciated the performance of Modi in Gujarat. The gist of Naidu’s speech clearly indicated that the TDP was having an unofficial truck with the BJP. The TDP chief told the party leaders that an appropriate decision would be taken at an appropriate time with regard to electoral alliance with the BJP.
The TDP chief, who met national leaders during his Delhi visit and sought their support for equal justice to the two regions after bifurcation of the State, said Modi wave was sweeping the country and exuded confidence that he would become prime minister. Elections are just 66 days away now, he added.
