Hyderabad: With indications from Delhi suggesting that the Congress high-command is entering the final lap before it tests its fortunes at the elections, state PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana has said only Telangana Bill will be tabled in state Assembly.
He however added that Seemandhra people are demanding tabling of Telangana Resolution as well in the state Assembly. He feigned ignorance whether the resolution will in fact come to the Assembly.
Giving clarity on the CWC resolution, Botsa said: “As PCC president, I am bound by the CWC resolution on Telangana. As a representative of Seemandhra people, I demand the Government to keep the state united.”
Botsa’s comments assume significance in view of the Congress Coordination committee meeting slated for Friday evening to be chaired by Congress General Secretary in-charge of AP affairs, at the Congress War Room in New Delhi.
