Hyderabad: Vote on Account budget session will begin on Monday at 10 am. But the Telangana Ministers were contemplating to boycott the session in protest against Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s opposition to bifurcation of the State, according to informed sources.
While the Cabinet will meet an hour before and take a decision on the agenda for the four-day session, Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy is expected to present the budget for 2014-15. After presentation of the budget, the members will get a day to study the details relating to the budget on Tuesday. Telangana Minister Basavaraju Saraiah said they may not attend the budget session. It is being said that if the T ministers turn up to the House they may raise the pitch for protesting against Kiran Kumar Reddy for his stiff opposition to the division of the State.
It may be recalled that Telangana Minister J Geetha Reddy, who felt insulted and got into tears at Delhi while preventing the CM’s convoy, had even demanded that Kiran Kumar Reddy step down. Thus, it may be said Ministers K Jana Reddy, D. Sridhar Babu, women ministers of Telangana are expected to raise a banner of revolt against Kiran’s defiance if they turn up. So the budget session is likely to be stormy, the sources said.
