New Delhi: The political activity over state bifurcation decision has heated up both in Hyderabad and New Delhi. AICC General Secretary in-charge of state affairs Digvijay Singh is working on the report to be submitted to the GoM by the Andhra Pradesh PCC.
As part of this exercise, Digvijay held parleys with Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao and Union minister of state JD Seelam. It is being interpreted that KVP represented the MPs of the party and Seelam met Digvijay on behalf of the Union ministers from Andhra Pradesh. After firming up the report, Digvijay may send the report to the GoM after calling on Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
APCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana will submit the party’s report to the GoM on the Telangana issue. Botsa will be in Delhi for this purpose on Tuesday.
It is already known that the Seemandhra Congress leaders will send a single-line resolution asking the Centre o keep the state united. Telangana Congress leaders will give a detailed report incorporating their opinions on the 11 issues flagged by the GoM in its letter inviting parties to take part in an all-party meeting.
