‘2.O’ Distributors To Face Losses

Amid high expectations, the much-anticipated sequel of ‘2.O’ has finally hit the screens on November 29th, 2018. But due to the lack of good story, the movie failed to reach the expectations.

The Hindi version of 2.O is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The film has already crossed Rs 175 cr mark collections is expected to join the 200 crore club too. The Hindi version became a super hit. But the Telugu version failed to perform well.

In 11 days of run, the film has collected 47+ crores share in two Telugu states and it is yet to recover almost 80 crores share. There is no chance for the Telugu version to collect more than 12-15 crores. So, it would be a 10-15% loss for the distributors. The Tamil version distributors will face the same fate too.

So, overall, the Hindi version of this Shankar’s directorial made massive collections but the Telugu and Tamil versions made the distributors suffer losses.
