Chhattisgarh: Either Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan or master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar may become the brand ambassador of Chhattisgarh tourism as the state government is believed to be in talks with both.
Earlier in January, state agriculture minister Chandrashekhar Sahu had mentioned that they were considering Aamir Khan to promote paddy production in the state.
“Film star Aamir Khan will be the brand ambassador of Chhattisgarh by March if everything goes well,” state agriculture minister Chandrashekhar Sahu had told reporters on January 8, adding that it would be like Amitabh Bachchan endorsing Gujarat tourism.
“Aamir will promote paddy production in Chhattisgarh, where the main occupation of the people is agriculture. A dialogue is underway with Aamir Khan and very soon he will take a final decision,” Sahu had said.
The offer was reportedly also given to actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
