This Dasara will witness an intense battle of biggies like never before in the recent past. While Gunasekhar’s 80-crore Rudhramadevi is already having a decent run at the box-office, Mega Power Star Ram Charan will try his luck on the 16th with Bruce Lee, also made with a whopping budget.
The battle only gets even bigger with the entry of Akhil Akkineni’s debut film, Akhil, which is releasing on the 22nd on Vijaya Dasami. Already, there have been numerous discussions among fans and trade circles with all the films releasing within a gap of just one week between them.
Ram Charan already clarified his stance on the Dasara battle with Rudramadevi and Akhil and said that his film’s producers kept saying repeatedly that they will release the film in the second week of October. However, this competition seems to have not gone down well with the senior actor and director Dasari Narayana Rao.
In a press meet just a while ago, Dasari said that Rudhramadevi would create history if the film which is releasing on the 16th will postpone its release at least by a week. Dasari opined that such competition is not a healthy trend for Tollywood. Will the filmmakers pay heed to Dasari’s opinions?
