Apparently, it won criticism first, as many felt that talented composer Anirudh is making use of Pawan Kalyan’s charisma to promote himself in Telugu Film Industry. Indeed, the composer started boasting a lot about the Powerstar at various occasions these days. But in the end, if we have a look at the #PSPK Tribute video, surely it makes us think.
Making some visuals for ‘Gaali Vaaluga’ song from “Agnathavasi”, actually Anirudh has come up with a special song. This video features Anirudh singing the total track but the actual excitement is that he showcases Pawan Kalyan painted on the dilapidated walls of deserted buildings and makes the whole visual effects are quite interesting. That shows an undulated love for the star, which is making his fans go merrily about it.
Moreover, the whole video is recorded and also visual effects are done completely in Chennai only with Anirudh being the producer of it. And that brings a question into our mind, what kind of tribute videos our people made when our biggest stars are scoring a milestone. Neither for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film nor for Balakrishna’s 100th film, we haven’t seen any such tribute videos coming up.
Or the music composers like Devi Sri Prasad, Thaman and Anup Rubens who have completed their 50 movies in Tollywood haven’t created any tribute video to Tollywood.
Definitely, this is something Tollywood needs to think about and for sure Anirudh has set us some goals.
