We had told you how Prabhas and Rana Daggubati‘s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion had set the box office on fire when it released yesterday (April 28). The movie had recorded a crazy occupancy of 95 per cent across 8000 screens in India, beating the occupancies of Salman Khan’s Sultan and Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Now we hear that the Hindi version of the movie itself has collected a mammoth amount of Rs 41.50 crore at the box office. Yes, early estimates reveal to us how Bahubali 2‘s Hindi version has crushed the likes of Sultan (Rs 36.54 crore) and Dangal (Rs 29.78 crore) at the box office on day one. As trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Truly SENSATIONAL! As per *early tracking and estimates* #Baahubali2 opens BIGGER than #Sultan [Rs 36.54 cr] and #Dangal [Rs 29.78 cr]. HINDI.”

Trade expert Komal Nahta also revealed the early figures, when he tweeted, “It looks like #Baahubali2 netted Rs. 41.5 crore on day 1. History is being written by this blockbuster.” But let us tell you that these are just early estimates and the final figure might just be even larger than this. But there’s more! If these are the Hindi figures, wait for the figures from the other versions of Baahubali. From our reckoning they will be even higher than the Hindi version! Currently, we are expecting Bahubali 2 to cross the Rs 100 crore mark through all the versions on day one itself. We are looking at the film collecting anywhere between Rs 100-120 crore, which is tremendous to say the least!

With such a fantastic start, a great hold at the box office, no competition and a great word of mouth publicity, we are sure Baahubali: The Conclusion will grow over the weekend and maybe even cross the Rs 300 crore make over the weekend. This would make it the highest first weekend grosser ever! With a holiday on Monday, expect the film to keep raking in the moolah. However it remains to be seen if it can beat Dangal, PK and Baahubali: The Beginning in its lifetime run at the box office.
