CPI’s youth wing puts Priya Prakash Varrier’s picture on its campaign poster

It has been days since Priya Prakash Varrier mesmerized the whole of nation with her wink but it looks like the fever won’t die out soon. The Communist Party of India (CPI)’s youth wing in Kerala has used Priya’s face on their campaign poster. The poster was made for an upcoming state conference of party. The All India Students Federation (AISF) conference is happening right now in Malappuram. It was made by AISF’s Kottakal unit. It features the original design of Oru Adar Love. As we know, Priya’s wink and the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi has become a hit all over the country. The young lady has stolen a million hearts with her quirky expressions.

This is quite surprising as the party would originally use faces of leading communist leaders like Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin. In December, they had used the picture of Kim Jong-Un, the head of North Korea. That move was panned by many other parties including BJP. Some time back, a Muslim group from Hyderabad had filed a complain against the actress for hurting religious sentiments. It was filed under section 295 of IPC. A case was also filed against the director, Omar Lulu.

Priya, 18, is a model and singer, who studies in Thrissur’s Vimala College. She is also a trained Mohiniattam dancer. The boy whom she winks at is Roshan Abdul. She got more than five million followers on Instagram overnight.
