Actress Geetika Tyagi, who has accused director Subhash Kapoor of molesting her, has an ugly past. If reports are to be believed, the journalist-turned-actress was once fired from a news organisation for stealing her colleague’s ATM and withdrawing money from it.
A Mid-Day report says that the actress was working for a news channel in 2004. She used to anchor the 10 pm news segment. She allegedly stole her colleague and news anchor-turned-AAP party leader Shazia Ilmi’s ATM card and withdrew money for her personal use.
The report has quoted a source close to Shazia and said since they both used to share the same makeup room, it was not difficult for Geetika to steal her colleague’s ATM card as Shazia would leave her bag inside the makeup room. When Shazia got to know that her ATM card had been misused, she complained to the senior management. However, Geetika claimed innocence when she was questioned. It was only after she was shown the CCTV footage of her stealing the card that she owned up. As a result she was fired from her job.

Shazia, who is currently in London, has confirmed this incident to the tabloid.
