Education-qualifications-ofAamir Khan was always keen to take up filmmaking and acting. The actor wasn’t keen to study from books and hence did not study further after completing his 12th.

Shah Rukh Khan
is an alumnus of Hansraj College. The actor did his graduation in economics and then joined Jamia Milia Islamia for a Master’s degree in Mass Communication. But the actor left the course mid way for a career in acting.

Salman Khan went to the Scindia School in Gwalior for a few years and then went to St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai. He dropped out of National College, Bandra.

Alia Bhatt
made her debut with ‘Student of the Year’ when she had just finished her schooling. Post SOTY, the actress got busy with films and didn’t pursue higher education.

Arjun Kapoor studied in Arya Vidya Mandir school in Mumbai. After he failed his 12th board exam, Arjun dropped out of school and started assisting his father, producer Boney Kapoor.

John Abraham
is perhaps one of the highly qualified actors in the industry. After finishing his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, he graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, and then completed MBA from MET (Mumbai Educational Trust).

Katrina Kaif was home tutored as she along with her siblings and parents kept travelling across the world. The actress actually never went to school and started modelling from the age of 14.

Parineeti Chopra received her early education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Ambala Cantonment. She did a triple honours degree in business, finance and economics from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.

Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka studied initially at La Martiniere Girls’ School in Lucknow and then went to United States to finish her high school. She eventually completed her schooling from the Army School in Bareily, Uttar Pradesh. She attended Jai Hind college briefly in Mumbai before she became Miss World.

Ranbir Kapoor
attended Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. He attended HR college in Mumbai for two years, and then went to pursue a course in acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

Ranveer Singh
attended junior college at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. He then graduated with a degree in Arts from Indiana University, Bloomington in USA.

Sonakshi Sinha
went to Arya Vidya Mandir in Mumbai. The actress then graduated in Fashion Designing from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, Mumbai.

Sushant Singh Rajput was a good student. Rajput studied in St. Karen’s High School in Patna and Hansraj Model School in New Delhi. He was studying at the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) when after three years he decided to drop out to pursue his passion and career in acting.

Varun Dhawan
holds a degree in Business Management from the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. He came back to India and started assisting Karan Johar and eventually made his debut in ‘Student Of The Year’.

Vidya Balan
had been working on TV since her college days but the actress completed her studies side by side. She completed her schooling from St Anthony Girls’ High School in Chembur, Mumbai, and later attended St Xavier’s College where she majored in Sociology.
