In the film industry, you never know what sort of cases one has to face for issues that are not related to them. Even hero Nitin is facing a similar issue and finally got some relief with a court order.
During the release of “Akhil” in theatres couple of years back, a distributor named G Satyanarayana hailing from Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, lodged a complaint that hero Nitin and his sister Nikita Reddy has cheated him. Accusing that Sresht Movies took 50 lakhs from him as a token advance for “Akhil” distribution rights but haven’t sold him the rights, the petitioner filed a criminal case against Sresht Movies, Sudhakar Reddy, Nitin and Nikitha Reddy.
Going through the case, a criminal court magistrate felt that both Nitin and Nikita have nothing to do with the issue as they are not even partners of Sresht Movies and struck the case against them. At the same time court directed the petitioner to approach a civil court to settle the matter.
It is learnt that this distributor hasn’t given any money to Sresht Movies but a USA based distributor gave that 50 lakhs through him and that issue will be solved amicably now.
