Oscar Awards are undoubtedly above all and it will be a dream for every actor and technicians around the world to win one. But what happens when they win the award with all their might and ends up losing it to a thief? Well, Frances McDormand who won the Best Actress award at the 90th Academy Awards other day almost faced that situation.
The 60-year-old actress Frances McDormand has won the Best Actress award for her remarkable performance in 2017 drama ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’. But hours after receiving her award, she found it missing at the Governor’s ball party. A celeb-obsessed man named Terry Bryant has stolen the award from her.
Frances attended the event with her husband Joel Coen. But the security there got alerted and brought her award back. “I can confirm that after spending a brief time apart, Frances and her Oscar Award Statuette were happily reunited last night. They also celebrated their reunion with a double cheeseburger from In-N-Out,” McDormand’s representative told the press.
The alleged thief got apprehended by a photographer and the security teams have acted fast and caught the person who swiped the award. It seems like Frances McDormand has won the same Best Actress award twice this year. Isn’t it?
