For a newcomer trying to find her feet in Bollywood, a commercial failure can be hugely disappointing.
However, three film-old Kiara Advani puts up a brave front when asked about life after her last release ‘Machine’ failed at the box office.
The actress, currently spending time with family and friends, says, “There were a lot of expectations from the film, which is natural because all of us had worked hard on it. It didn’t do as well as we hoped. That saddened me but I’ve not let it bog me down.”
Maintaining that successes and failures are a part of life, she adds, “Machine was a great exposure. I got a chance to work with Abbas-Mustan very early in my career which taught me a lot. That was one of the nicest things about the project for me.
I hold that close to my heart and look forward to projects where I can use the experience I’ve gained so far from Fugly, Machine and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.”
