Star anchor Suma has fans in almost every Telugu family. With her spontaneity, she has greatly impressed the audience. From anchoring to movie events she will be the centre of attraction. Recently, the TV9 channel organised an award funtion and they honoured Suma with Television Excellence Award and showed her life journey. Suma has received the award by the hands of Subbiramireddy. She started her speech by saying that she started her career as a serial actress in Pelli choopulu and has been in the TV industry from the past 26 years. She humoured by saying that audience can guess the age of her by this.

While coming from small screens to silverscreens she has seen so many star heroes like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, NTR also became hosts for TV shows. “If I had started the career Padutha Theeyaga program instead of the Pellichupulu serial then I would have definitely become a singer and would have injured so many” said Suma and laughed.

She added that when her mother was teaching her Telugu language she thought that she is just learning the language but has never realised that she was earning the breadwinning capability. This star anchor has also advised The other parents to teach other languages to their kids.
