Whenever a film releases in tough competition at the box office, they will surely get less number of theaters. The box office competition of ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ with ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ had some impact on JJN because they had to be contented with less number of theaters in B, C centers which is the stronghold of director Boyapati Sreenu.
As we all know, it is the audience reception which ultimately decides the number of screens in the second third weeks, unlike the opening week. JJN has got good word of mouth among the mass audience because of the lead pair romantic track, Hamsala Deevi action episode in the film. JJN has got 100 extra screens in the second week, as a result of the positive talk.
As the budget of the film is high, it is going to be a breather for the producer. Trade analysts opine that, if the movie had gone for a solo release, it would have registered better collections.
