“I watched Kannada version of Kirrak Party in the USA and since then keen to remake it in Telugu. I went nostalgic watching the film as it reminded my college days. I wanted to remake it and felt Nikhil apt for the protagonist in this campus drama as he has been successful with content backed youthful entertainers.”
Further talking about his future projects, Anil Sunkara said that his upcoming film Aata Nade Veta Nade starring Venkatesh in the direction of Teja will be officially launched on 26th of this month, aiming for a release in July or August.
A biopic with Rana titled as Tiger Nageswar Rao is in discussions. Anil Sunkara also has plans to reunite with Mahesh Babu for a new project which will soon take a shape. Anil Sunkara bankrolled Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu and Aagadu under 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
Nevertheless, Anil also has films with Balakrishna, Rana, Sharwanand, Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun in pipeline.
