Superstar Mahesh is aiming big with his forthcoming release Srimanthudu. Apparently he is trying to achieve a huge target of 100 crore share, which is so far a near-impossible feat for Telugu commercial films apart from Baahubali. For this, Mahesh is sweating out like never before.
For the first time, he’s promoting his film quite aggressively on all circuits of media. All these days it used to be the hype that was generated at audio functions which carried most of the audiences to theatres when it comes to Mahesh Babu films. But now, he’s giving loads of interviews to print media, TV channels and then conducting #AskSrimanthudu twitter sessions. Apart from this promotion, Srimanthudu will see a Tamil version release on same day. Mahesh, Shruti, Jagapathi Babu and Koratala Siva are likely to promote the film in Chennai circles too. Definitely all this hard work could be dubbed as something to reach the milestone box office bonanza.
Baahubali being a bigger film, no one would try in its style to promote and publicise their films. However Srimanthudu being the same commercial cinema all other big stars are attempting, its marketing model would surely inspire others if it makes more than 100 crores of share from box office. That way, Mahesh becomes a torch bearer with this flick.
