Actress Manjima Mohan, who made her debut opposite STR in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, is all set to be part of Hindi film Queen’s Malayalam remake. According to a source, “The makers decided to take different actresses for the remake versions down south. For Telugu, they have roped in Tamannaah and for the Malayalam version they have zeroed in on Manjima Mohan.” Both the Telugu and Malayalam versions will be directed by Neelakantha, while the Tamil remake is touted to be directed by Revathi and will feature Kajal Aggarwal.
Earlier, it was announced that Amala Paul had been roped in as the lead for the Malayalam version.
After her debut in Tamil and Telugu, Manjima got good reviews for her performances and has been busy with a couple of Tamil projects. After Oru Vadakkan Selfie, the Queen remake will be her second Malayalam film as a heroine.
Actress Amy Jackson is said to be part of all the four southern versions of Queen. Manjima is now awaiting the release of Ippadai Vellum in which she is paired opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin.
