MCA Closing Total World Wide Collections


MCA-audio-release-dateNatural Star Nani’s recent release, “MCA” has completed its glorious box office run about six weeks after its release on Dec 21. Although the family entertainer competed with Salman Khan’s blockbuster, “Tiger Zinda Hai” and Akhil’s “Hello” at box office, it still emerged a big winner in all territories.

In its full run, MCA collected 70 Cr at worldwide box office, which amounts to a distributor share of around 40 Cr. Its a profitable venture for all the buyers as the theatrical rights were valued at around Rs 30 Cr. This Dil Raju production venture is Nani’s biggest grosser, overtaking ‘Nenu Local’, which was also bankrolled by Dil Raju.

Dil Raju earned another Rs 8 Cr by selling the film’s digital and satellite rights. In the end, MCA turned out to be a heavily profitable film for the involved parties, and was deservedly declared a blockbuster.
