Sai Dharam Tej, known as Supreme Hero, has been a big fan of the director, Krishna Vamsi from his young age. The actor revealed that during the audio function of Nakshatram and he thanked the director for offering him the role of Alexander in the movie.
The actor said, ” I used to watch Krishna Vamsi garu’s movies in theatres and when he started Govindudu Andarivadele with Charan and went to the sets. I asked him to offer me any role in his movie as I wanted to work with the director. Remembering my words, Krishna Vamsi sir, called me one day and offered me this role. I thank him for accepting my request in the first place.
“After I got the offer, I went and met my uncles, Chiranjeevi garu and Pawan Kalyan garu. Both of them congratulated me and wished me all the best. Chiranjeevi garu said that I will learn a lot from the director and I should go like a student to the sets. I did the same and understood how true his words were on the first day itself. Krishna Vamsi sir, I thank you for the powerful role like Alexander and Nakshatram will be a big hit. I learned a lot and I’m lucky that I worked with someone like Krishna Vamsi so early in my career.”
Krishna Vamsi also praised the actor for delivering a powerful performance as cop and wished him all the luck in his future endeavours. Nakshatram team launched the audio last night and handed the first CD to Shriya Saran who did an item song in the movie. Sandeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Tanish, Pragya Jaiswal are playing important roles in the movie. The team did not announce the release date yet.
