Vishal had not tasted success for a long time. His last film ‘Vaadu – Veedu’ just managed to be an average and he is desperate for a hit with his recent film, Pandiya Nadu (Palnadu in Telugu). The movie is all set for release today on the occasion of Diwali. But it received the first jolt after Karnataka government banned other language films in the state. Due to Karnataka state formation day, they will not be allowing any other language movie releases from November 1st to 10th.
Pandiya Nadu is being dubbed in to Telugu as Palnadu. Suseendran has directed Palnadu while Vishal himself has produced the film on his banner ‘Vishal Film Factory’.
