After Padmaavat, its time for Manikarnika to be a hot topic in Bollywood. Queen beauty Kangana Ranaut has been immersed in the back to back shootings of this upcoming period drama Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi from the past few days. The pictures of Kangana on sets are taking the internet by storm.
In one of the pictures, wearing a maroon saree in Maharashtrian style and adorned with jewellery, the actress is spotted on the sets. As the makers have felt the need of authenticity, designer Neeta Lulla has collaborated with Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) which are producing the fabric. The output is quite worthy and she looked elegant in the pictures.
Acclaimed Tollywood director Krish is helming Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Actually shooting of the film is halted a few weeks ago due to unknown pressures and also with certain groups lodging cases on the filmmakers accusing them of distorting history. But now it looks like everything is sorted out.
