We have seen significant number of instances where celebrities landed themselves in legal mess by endorsing certain products, mostly skincare. Here is the latest case which dragged Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan to court.
According to reports, a man has filed a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan in Bhopal consumer court alleging that he developed rashes on his face after using a shaving cream endorsed by the star hero. He added that he had to get treatment from a hospital to get cured.
The complainant alleged that Shah Rukh has been misleading people with an advertisement where he says the shaving cream he endorses is the No.1 in India, and that he should bore penalty for the damage caused to him.
After hearing the case, the court has sent legal notice to Shah Rukh, the owner of the company that manufactures the shaving cream and the director of Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Department, asking them to give an explanation within one week.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, which is set for release on August 4.
