Ravi Teja to get Rs 16 Cr for 2 movie deal with Mythri Movie Makers


Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is getting whooping amount for his 2 film deal with Mythri Movie Makers.

Mythri Movie Makers– one of the popular production house of Tollywood, which has delivered blockbuster movies- Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Rangasthalam, is bankrolling the two upcoming untitled movies in which Ravi Teja is playing the lead role.

Ravi Teja who is currently busy in his upcoming film Nela Ticket, being helmed by Kalyan Krishna, is all set to join the sets of Srinu Vaitala’s upcoming directorial venture Amar Akbar Anthony. Ravi Teja has also joined hands with Santhosh Srinivas of Kandireega and Rabhasa fame for his next project. Both the movies- Srinu Viatla’s Amar Akbar Anthony and Santhosh Srinivas’s directorial venture will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

The sources says that Mass Maharaja had quoted Rs 20 Cr as his remuneration for Srinu Vaitla and Santhosh Srinivas’s movies but Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) (Mythri Movie Makers) have sealed the deal for Rs 16 Cr.

Ravi Teja made his come back after a short break with Raja The Great which was decent hit at the box office but his previous offering Touch Chesi Chudu was disaster at the box office. On its opening day the movie received mixed response.

In Amar Akbar Anthony, Anu Emmanuel is playing the love interest of Ravi Teja. Apart from the lead pair, the film has Vikramjeet Virk, Tarun Arora, Abhimanyu Singh, Sunil, Srinivasa Reddy, Sayaji Shinde, Adhithya, Sijoy Varghese, Vennela Kishore, Divya Unni and Jayaprakash Reddy in supporting roles. The film has the music by S Thaman.

The sources say that Ravi Teja will play cop in Santhosh Srinivas’s film and Kajal Aggarwal has been rope to share the screen space with Ravi Teja in this film, which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
