Revanth Reddy says K Chandrasekhar Rao haunted by CBI cases


Revanth-Reddy-1200TD working president A. Revanth Reddy has charged Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao with indulging a “drama” on the GST issue only to get himself cleared from CBI cases.

Mr Revanth Reddy, who was speaking to mediapersons along with TD leaders, alleged that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao while he was Union labour minister in the UPA regime was involved in scams related the construction of an ESI hospital. The CBI had filed a case against him in 2011, he claimed.

He alleged that officials who worked with Mr Chandrasekhar Rao at that time had turned approver before the CBI and informed that they had cooperated with contractor E. Suryana-rayana on the instructions of Mr Chandrasekhar Rao.

He said CBI officials had visited Hyderabad thrice in 2015 and inquired with the Chief Minister. He releasing news clippings that appeared in the national media.

He said the CBI was also investigating into  Mr Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to exempt Sahara India from depositing the management share of  Provident Fund into the employees account.

He leader said these two CBI cases were serious and fearing this Mr Chandrasekhar Rao had started supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in all his decisions.

“Now, he is enacting a drama of approaching Supreme Court on the 12 per cent GST,” he said.
