Sai Pallavi had a rocking year in Tollywood with her stunning performance as Bhanumathi in Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa. She followed it up with her next run–Middle Class Abbayi, which has kept the box office registers ringing.
The actress, who took the film world in south India by storm with her debut in the Malayalam film, Premam, is easily among the busiest stars at the moment. Sources inform us that though the actress has a clutch of offers coming her way, she’s being picky. Clearly, she’s keeping in mind the reputation she is seeking to build as a quality-conscious star.
Sai Pallavi is all set to make another big foray into Telugu in 2018 with a thriller, Kanam directed by A.L.Vijay, which is also being made in Tamil under the title, Karu. She’s likely to hit the Tamil screen again next year, teaming up with Dhanush in Maari2, a sequel to Maari, the Dhanush-Kajal Aggarwal gangster-comedy.
The MCA actress might well repeat the magic of 2017 in the new year too. So, as 2017 winds down, we can say that Sai Pallavi, with Fidaa and MCA is the new Tollywood sensation. Don’t you agree?
