Suppose you have a food plate full of items before you and you are hungry, it will surely satisfy your hunger. In case the food items are tasteless, you will not eat bellyful but you get up as soon as possible. The situation is same with the common Telugu audience now. Nearly 8 films released in Telugu, a rare feat in the past few months.
‘Ee Nagaranikini Emaindi’.. ‘Shambho Shankara’.. ‘Yuddha Bhumi’.. ‘Sanjeevani’.. ‘Naa Love Story’.. ‘Kannullo Nee Rupame’.. ‘Mr. Homanand’ are the Telugu films. Hindi film ‘Sanju’ also released along with these films. Among all the Telugu films, only ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ received positive talk. The movie directed by Tharun Bhascker struck a chord with the youth audience. But it may not impress family audience.. the chances are less. All the other films are not impressive. All the theaters are exhibiting new films but it is tough to see a houseful board in front of theatres.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ received blockbuster talk. But the movie has not been dubbed into Telugu. So, it may not run well in B, C centers. The biopic of Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has good reception in urban areas. As no Telugu movie which can give tough competition, it will become an advantage for ‘Sanju’.
