Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film, a biopic on Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy may not touch the epicness of Baahubali but it looks to be equaling or even dominating the Rajamouli directorial in terms of casting.
Post the nationwide success of Baahubali, the decision has been taken to make Uyyalawada also as a pan-India film. The best way to do that is by roping in popular actors from other film industries. It seems that director Surender Reddy and team is silently assembling a formidable cast and crew for this magnum opus starring Chiru.
After recently signing Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan for a crucial role, a ploy that can attract the attention of Bollywood, makers are on the verge of signing Kannada star hero Sudeep for a crucial role. Sudeep himself confessed that talks are on and that he feels honored to be a part of such a big project. Some reports emerged in the recent past that Upendra was on board but it seems that the role has landed in Sudeep’s lap.
Uyyalawada’s box office prospects look bright in Bollywood as well as Kannada markets with the inclusion of Big B and Sudeep respectively. Some unconfirmed reports say that Oscar award winning musician AR Rahman is on board to score music.
With big names like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Big B, AR Rahman, Sudeep and many more to be added, Uyyalawada biopic is getting bigger and bigger.
