Nagarjuna’s son- Akhil Akkineni’s movie ‘Akhil’ was postponed due to the competition that was expected during Vijayadasami period. However, both “Bruce Lee” and “Rudramadevi”, the two films from different genres, did well at the box office without any hiccups. Though there were other small releases, the two star-studded movies did not face any competition.
Keeping this in mind, Tollywood biggies are now focusing on Sankrati season. Three big heroes, who
are known for the huge collections they get- Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna and Jr. NTR are in the race for a Sankranti release.
First in the list is Jr. NTR, his movie “Nannaku Prematho” will be coming out on January 9, as a Sankranti gift from director Sukumar. Getting ready for a strong competition to JR. NTR is his uncle Balakrishna, his movie “Dictator” is also said to be releasing around the same time as “Nannaku Prematho”. None other than Power Star Power Kalyan, is also gearing up for the race, it is confirmed that his movie “Sardar Gabbar Singh” is going to come out for Sankranti.
With three big releases around the same time, it is going to be a visual treat for the Telugu audience.
