Seems like the makers of ‘Yevadu’ are pinning all their hopes on the first week of its release as the wave of ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ is going to make things tough for them in the second week. Vamsi Paidipally himself has admitted that fans would be running after Pawan Kalyan’s film as soon as it hits the screens and all that matters for his team is the collections of ‘Yevadu’ in the first week.
To a question on the Box Office clash between ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Atharintiki Daredi’, Vamsi opined,”There is no problem what-so-ever if two films release within a short gap. We have enough theatres to screen two biggies at a time. Even ‘Nayak’ and ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ got released in the same week, yet they were successful.
One week is the time required for fans to watch a film. In the first week, they will be watching ‘Yevadu’ and moves to ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ in the second week. Being a big fan of Pawan Kalyan, even I am eagerly waiting for ‘AD’ release. I saw ‘Tholi Prema’ and ‘Kushi’ at RTC X Roads. I will be watching ‘Yevadu’ soon and ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ as soon as it arrives.”
Vamsi Paidipalli is confident that Charan’s star power and past record will ensure a resounding success for ‘Yevadu’ at the Box Office. “Charan achieved the mass appeal of Chiranjeevi in just his second flick ‘Magadheera’.
Films like ‘Racha’ and ‘Nayak’ showcased his potentiality at the ticket window. The way he presents himself is the key for his success. ‘Yevadu’ is a script designed based on his image. What you have seen in the trailer is just a sample, the film has much more to offer,” confirms the director.
